  • Remove the floor mats and keep them aside, use an appropriate attachment to vacuum the floor, the seats and under, reach the pedals and unreachable parts on the floor. You can then choose to vacuum the floor mats or just clean them with soap and water.
  • Using a soft brush attachment, vacuum the doors, the center console and the dashboard not forgetting the seats. Seats could be different in a car and it is wise to be careful on the ones you are cleaning. For instance, the leather seats are more delicate to handle than the velvet are. For leather seats, consider using products that are formulated for the kind of leather in your car alongside a clean cotton cloth that will scratch the seats and steering. Cleaning the velvet seats requires targeting the stain by applying upholstery cleaning agents by spraying, then wiping it thoroughly with a clean piece of cloth.
  • When all cleaning is done, leave the doors open and let the interior parts dry as fresh air circulates.
